COVID-19 response – a message from our Chief Risk Officer
In the last few months we have seen an unprecedented volume of information about the implications of Coronavirus (COVID-19) and its significant impact on our society. At TAE Aerospace we prioritise:
- the health and well-being of our customers, partners and staff
- the need to constructively support local health officials and government leaders as they work to contain the virus.
We would like to reassure our customers and stakeholders that we are prepared for further potential consequences of the virus. We remain focused on continuing our existing support for customers to minimise disruption.
Since the COVID-19 outbreak, we have activated our Business Continuity Plan. We are subsequently implementing policies in line with the World Health Organisation and the Australian and United States governments’ initiatives, to ensure the health and safety of our people, and the continuity of the services we provide to our valued customers.
Although we are doing everything possible to maintain continuity of services from our in-country facilities, we must adhere to government-imposed travel restrictions and the enforceable 14-day quarantine requirements for all travellers entering Australia and the United States. Consequently, TAE Aerospace is not currently able to provide in-country services, like field service. Our workshops, however, remain open and we will continue providing 24/7 technical support across the globe. Our usual business processes for sending engines and components to or from our facilities for maintenance will also continue.
Our commitment to you is that we will continue daily monitoring to observe and scrutinise any further developments or requirements. We endeavour to lift our travel restrictions as soon as the respective governments approve, and with the highest regard for health and safety.
As we respond to this unfolding situation, we will do everything in our power to keep our employees safe and continue to provide quality services to our customers worldwide.
We welcome your questions or concerns via our contact page.
